Rannus Records recording artist
Roger Marshall is featured in the July/August issue of Coping With
Cancer magazine.
The article, entitled "Roger Marshall Gets a Second Shot at
Musical Fame" recounts his early brushes with the big time, and his
bout with testicular cancer which nearly ended his career - and his
life. It continues through his lengthy treatments, and miraculous
recovery, after which he jump-started his career by forming a new
band and recording his debut CD, Hiding In The Wide Open, which has
won high praise from critics - both in the U.S. and Europe. Marshall
has just completed a two-month-long radio tour to promote the album
in America. Excited about the coverage in "Coping," Marshall is
hopeful that others will find something in his story that will be
helpful to them. He remains upbeat about his life as a cancer
survivor and a performer: "A lot of cancer is curable. Have faith,
be positive, and keep reaching for your dreams."
